Herdade do Peso is a winery in the Alentejo wine region to the east of Lisbon in Portugal (in Pedrógão, in the Vidigueira district). It is since 1997 one of the wineries in the portfolio of Sogrape, one of Portugal’s biggest wine producers. The property has 110 hectares of vineyards on a total acreage of 465 ha. In addition to vines, there are extensive plantings of olive trees.

The vineyards are planted across a gently rolling landscape where one can also see various fruit trees. The grape varieties used in the vineyards are for examples aragones, trincadeira and alfrocheiro.

Sogrape has built a modern vinification centre at the Peso property to vinify a range of different wines. It begins with Vinha do Monte (which was made even before the acquisition of Herdade do Peso, from bought grapes). The wine is a blend of traditional grape varieties. There is a premium range of wines called simply Herdade do Peso. They are single variety wines from trincadeira, alfrocheiro and aragones. In 2001 they launched a top-of-the-range Reserva 1999.
